MY ROLE AS A CITIZEN OF EARTH

In the vast universe, we were born on this planet called Earth, where various cultures and ethnicities, all living things, and all of nature exist together. However, in our world today, we face numerous problems--environmental destruction, resource depletion, wars and conflicts, poverty, and many more--that make our future uncertain.

Given this situation, what do you think is the best way forward for humanity? How do you wish to fulfill your role as a citizen of Earth?

  1. The thing which should be done is researching and building programs of settlements in space.
For sure, It’s sounds strange. However in the fact of possible natural or man-made disasters(global nuclear warfare, climate wars etc) it will give us an alternative .

Adding that there is a huge problem of resource depletion(resources in space are enormous, both in materials and energy), overpopulation .
Noticing ,that we can’t move forward effectively, faced with restrictions, locked at Earth ,we may turn the other planets/asteroids/free-floating space habitats into new homes.

    1. First of all, Kate, it's great that you have joined us at last! Welcome back!

As for your idea, as far as I understand your ambition is to become not only a citizen of Earth, but also a citizen of the universe. Why not?

Hope to hear from you again.

  2. I honestly feel that the best forward for humanity is to treat equally to each other and to treat with respect to people. To protect our Earth we ought to be like a team, and do everything to save environment, nature and ourselves.

  3. To get a better world we should treat our environment as a part of life not as a part of our consuming area . People also be treated as a human not as a racial or ethnic group . Without loving what is in our surroundings we can not make a better living space .
